| 2008-10-03 16:59:06 Major problems trying to get Setanta on. Had to set up a google mail acc and sent this to them To Whom It May Concern. I am writing to you regarding my failed attempts to become a Setanta subscriber. I set up an account on 08/12/07 and since then I have not received Setanta and I have paid £198.86. My Account number is 3530933 and my name is Sarah Preece. I have phoned on numerous occasions to no avail. I have been working abroad for a number of months which is why I have not contacted you again until recently. What your people told me was that there is a fault when they try to send signals to my box/card. They suggested I contact Sky because the problem is with the card. Sky say that is not the case as the Sky is working fine and to get back to Setanta. The last conversation I have just had with a supervisor in your call centre was along the lines of "Well I can't do any more so you may as well cancel your account". I said shouldn't someone from Setanta technical be phoning someone at Sky technical to try and resolve this but he said well "yes you are probably right but I can't do that you will have to write in or email and ask for that to be done". So the purpose of this email is two fold. 1 Please either activate my account or confirm that you are unable to activate my account. 2 Please refund my £198.86. If you can activate my account please simply credit my Setanta account or if you cannot activate my account please return the money by bank transfer to the account you are debiting every month.
